Elegant Mao style blouse in royal blue silk velvet with loose mandarin collar and self covered buttons on 3/4 cuff sleeves. Sits at hip length. Perfect with your favourite jeans or easy to dress up for a special occasion, designed to be versatile and much loved. Easy to layer over a fitted V neck thermal in the cooler months. Also available in green. This season, we've increased the cuff circumference just a little. Model is 174cm and wears size xs. A part of our silk road collection, we think these pieces deserve a little special attention and recommend that they be spot cleaned and aired or when necessary, gently hand washed or dry cleaned, but only as required. Absolutely happy with this nice blouse

I love the style, the color and the texture of velvet. It is a loose style but I found it still a tiny bit larger than my size although I got the smallest one XS. But that not a big deal.

A new favourite

Beautiful fabric, colour and design. This shirt looks and feels lovely. The colour shimmers, the cut is so simple and elegant and the drape is perfect. There is not much else more to say other than THANKYOU once again to the Foundling Team.

Beautiful to wear

Really pleased with to top. I’m a busty size 16 love that this top was loose but still very glamorous I wore to a formal awards dinner and got lots of compliments. Looks great dressed down with jeans also

Not silky

Fabrics feels like polyester and I can’t get the ‘fold’ mark out across the front - tried washing it twice . Definitely not worth 230$

Hi Maria
I was sorry to read your review as customers have been very happy with this blouse for many seasons. The button blouse is a pure silk velvet fabrication but the base or bed of the silk velvet pile is viscose which is a plant fibre based fabric, there is certainly no polyester. Sometimes with fabric piles like the silk velvet steaming can be an effective way to remove any crease marks that may form I hope that helps.
