Handwoven woollen scarf muscade

Handwoven pure wool scarf in a rich nutmeg with fresh white trellis and border pattern embroidered by hand. This scarf is created by artisans renown for traditional hand woven wool who live in Uttarakhand (a mountainous region near the Himalayas) also known as the Land of the Gods.  Extremely warm as is typical of scarves originating from this region. Unique and one of a kind. As a handwoven scarf, the wool is not industrially processed or enzyme treated like many woollen products but will certainly soften with time. We suggest adding bicarbonate soda to clean and condition the fibres on a gentle wool cycle. Measures 193cm x 58cm.
