Shalimar hand embroidered wool shawl

Fine, soft pure wool shawl from the Kashmir region of India featuring 'aari' style embroidery typical of the region.  Kashmir is renown for its lush greenery and heavenly gardens. Vibrant emerald green with five coloured embroidery.  We love these shawls to wear on the plane, for chilly nights or as an extra layer to pack in your suitcase as they fold down neatly to be light and compact. Measures 183cmx74cm including self fringe. Please note that these textiles are hand embroidered and as with all artisan pieces, there can be small imperfections. Fair trade.
