I’ve had a few foundling purchases now, and they are always wardrobe standouts that I reach for over and over. And always get comments! This red dress is no exception. It’s slightly small of true to size. I bought to my measurements and it pulls slightly across my back. But not enough to size up. Just be aware if you are sitting between sizes.
The colour is stunning as per photos. The ruffles are fun and it’s a great length on this short girl.

It’s a nice dress. I took advice from the reviews on sizing and one of them mentioned that it was tight around the bodice. I went for my usual size but I could have gone a size smaller. It’s a little loose under the arms and around my bust.
I also noted from both dresses that I bought a really unappealing smell which must be related to the dye used. I had to immediately wash them as they were making my other dresses in the wardrobe smell too.

Hi Ta, I was really surprised to read this, we've not had that feedback on our clothes before with regard to any untoward smell, I know that there can be a starch smell from when the garments are pressed but I'm sorry if yours was particularly unpleasant. With respect to sizing we provide a detailed size guide for each garment to help people choose the best size for their particular measurements and always encourage everyone to check fit points against the size guide should they be in any doubt
