The Amelie silk velvet coat is very beautiful. The fabric is soft and luscious, with a lovely subtle sheen, just to amp up the glamour. Even the lining is special.
It feels like a very high quality piece.
I was uncertain which size to order (I am usually a size 8) and, after contacting Kim ( who was very helpful) I decided on a size small, so I could layer underneath if I needed to and because I wanted the look to be a little relaxed but not swamp my small frame.
The small was too big, even taking the above into consideration, so I have returned it and exchanged for an XS ( which has not yet arrived due to Easter holiday delays).
When I needed to arrange the exchange, Kim was there to help again and was also kind enough to put the XS aside for me, so I didn’t miss out. Prompt and friendly service. Thank you so much, Kim.

I never do reviews, mostly because what I receive is no near the quality what I was hoping for or its what it is just as it should be. I am lucky and unlucky have known the amazing quality of clothes that used to be available in this country especially in the 80s and 90s, it doesn’t exist anymore. This coat is beautiful and exceed my expectations. I bought it this summer and I put on everyday even though it’s 30c and 90% humidity, I can’t wait for winter.

This is the most elegant , luxurious and timeless coat you will ever own. When it arrived I wore it around the house for the entire afternoon and evening. It’s a must ❤️
